Parmarth’s Theory of change:

Parmarth theory of change is to “Facilitate and Empower The Process” and community. Empowerment is a process that challenges our assumptions about the way things are and can be. It challenges our basic assumptions about power, helping, achieving, and succeeding. Empowerment is a construct shared by many disciplines and arenas e.g. community development, education, training and capacity building and research & studies of social issues, movements and organizations etc. Parmarth consistently adopt this in its action and social interventions through various programs and projects. Community-based change initiatives often have ambitious goals, and so planning specific on-the-ground strategies to those goals is difficult. Likewise, the task of planning and carrying out evaluation research that can inform practice and surface broader lessons for the field in general is a challenge. Parmarth facilitate the community to sustain, bring to scale and evaluate, since each step – from the ideas behind it, to the outcomes it hopes to provide, to the resources needed – are clearly defined within the objective. It assured that their programmes are delivering the right activities for the desired outcomes.
